Charles Barkley made it 2-for-2 against TNT colleague Shaquille O’Neal on Friday night in the 2013 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge. Team Chuck defeated Team Shaq 163-135. Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried was named MVP after his 40 points and 10 rebound night. Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson came away as Cleveland’s only winner of Friday night’s event. Thompson’s teammates Kyrie IrvingDion Waiters and Tyler Zeller were all members of O’Neal team. Here are the numbers for each of the participating Cavaliers…


Tristan Thompson: 20 points, 10 rebounds, 18 minutes, 9-10 from the floor, 2-4 from the line, 1 assist


Kyrie Irving: 32 points, 6 rebounds, 27 minutes, 14-20 from the floor, 4-8 from 3-point line, 0 free throws, 6 assists

Dion Waiters: 23 points, 0 rebounds, 19 minutes, 11-12 from the floor, 1-1 from the line, 3 assists

Tyler Zeller: 4 points, 4 rebounds, 17 minutes, 1-2 from the floor, 2-4 from the line, 1 assists


Remember, Kyrie Irving will participate in Saturday’s three-point contest and Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game from Houston.
