The Cleveland Indians are the hottest team in baseball after Saturday afternoon’s 7-3 win over the Minnesota Twins.

With a six game winning streak, the Indians have now pulled to one game over .500 on the season. Pitcher Scott Kazmir picked up his first win since 2010 when he pitched for the Los Angeles Angles. In six innings, Kazmir allowed five hits and two runs while striking out seven.

Jason Kipnis continued with a hot bat, finishing 3 for 4 with a homerun and two RBIs. The last two games alone, Kipnis has driven in six runs, while the previous 18 games, Kipnis had a combined four RBIs. Eight of the nine Cleveland batters had a hit, 12 in total for the game.

The Indians improved to 14-13 on the season and look to finish off a three game sweep of Minnesota on Sunday before beginning a four game series against Oakland.
