Cleveland rallies to beat Oakland, runs win streak to three games

The Cleveland Indians are one of the hottest teams in all of baseball, and after Wednesday’s 4-3 come-from-behind win over Oakland, the Tribe ran their win streak to three games and have won 9 of their last 10.

Down 3-0, Cleveland rallied for a pair of runs in the 5th and 6th inning to take a 4-3 lead. Chris Perez shutdown Oakland for the second straight night picking up his 5th save on the season.

Justin Masterson was solid once again, pitching seven innings, allowing four hits, three earned runs and striking out seven while picking up his 5th win on the season.

Nick Swisher and Carlos Santana both homered in the bottom of the 6th inning to tie and take the lead over the A’s, who have dropped the first three games in this four game series against Cleveland.

The Tribe will look for the series sweep Thursday afternoon before heading to Detroit for a three game series over the weekend.
