Congratulations to the Cleveland Cavaliers who have won the 2013 NBA Draft Lottery. The Cavs entered the night with the 3rd best odds of winning and came out on top with the Magic falling to 2nd and the Wizards coming up to the 3rd pick.

Many expect that the Cavaliers will draft Nerlens Noel the PF/C from Kentucky his injury as well as the Cavs gaping hole at the Small Forward position does not make this as guaranteed as the Kyrie Irving pick 2 years ago. Noel’s athleticism will assist the team in getting out and running and his defensive prowess will be greatly coveted by Mike Brown and his defensive system.

The Cavs will have the #19 pick, loads of cap space and if they draft Noel the possibility of dangling Anderson Varejao or others to fill their needs. Having the first pick in the draft means that the Cavs are in control of the draft.

Factory of Sadness will have a full mock draft up shortly put together by the staff together. We look forward to the discussion this month before the draft.
