The Cavaliers traded the 31st pick to Portland for future 2nd round picks. With the 33rd pick the Cavs select Carrick Felix a wing player out of  Arizona State. Felix is a guard who is a good defender who can guard the Point Guard, Shooting Guard and Small Forward. The Cavs with Mike Brown back as a coach have a need for a good defender on the wing. Felix also has the ability to get out on the fast break and finish at the rim. The Cavs passed up a big defender in Jeff Withey as well as other athletes like Jamaal Franklin.

The Cavs currently have left the 2013 NBA Draft with Anthony Bennett, Sergey Karasev and Felix. As with many drafts trades are possible throughout the night. We will have a review of Felix soon. Look forward to FoS Friday morning for full reviews of any moves made by the team throughout the night. There are rumors out there that the 76ers are looking to move Evan Turner and that the Cavs may be making that trade as well. The Pacers, Rockets and Mavericks still be looking to move salaries of Danny Granger, Thomas Robinson and Shawn Marion and the Cavs added future second rounders tonight as well as there many 1st round picks in the future including the Kings, Grizzlies and the Heat over the next few years as well as all of their own.
