The Cleveland Browns are set to interview Bob McAdoo, the quarterbacks coach of the Green Bay Packers, for the head coaching position according to Ian Rapoport.

McAdoo is at the top of the Dolphins list for their offensive coordinator position, recently made available by Mike Sherman’s firing. McAdoo is a 36 year old up and comer. According to the Packers website McAdoo was the tight ends coach for 6 years before being promoted to QBs coach in Feb of 2012.

Its interesting that following the firing of a inexperienced first time head coach in Rob Chudzinski that the Browns would go back to that same well again. Yet if you believe the smokescreen scenario of the job search, this makes perfect sense. The Browns may be looking for a opportunity to learn more about the Packers successful setup, looking for a future offensive coordinator or maybe just to put more smoke on the search process.

Either way another name is added to the list, this time Bob McAdoo, not the basketball star.
