With the Indianapolis Colts finally getting eliminated from the playoffs, yes Cleveland Browns‘ fans were rooting for it last week as well, the Browns’ draft picks for this upcoming draft are set, until compensation picks are added in later. The Colts owe the Browns 2 selections so their success and failure in the playoffs impacted more then just the first round pick.
The Browns have 10 selections overall. Before any compensation picks are added the Browns own 5 of the top 83 picks, and 7 of the top 123 picks in the draft. This gives the team, and its new head coach (whoever that ends up being), ammunition to move up in the draft, or out of the draft like last year. The team could also just add talent to a roster that led to a 4-12 record. Either way this years draft could be very interesting for the Brown and Orange.
Here is a look at the team’s selections in each round (overall pick in parenthesis):
#26 from the Colts (26)
#19 from the Steelers (83)
#27 from the Colts (123)
