6. Atlanta Falcons
Jake Matthews
OT, Texas A&M

  • A&M has players go back to back. For the Falcons this is one of 2 dream scenarios, the other being Clowney falling. Matthews will fit with Matt Ryan to give him protection on his blind side and open up running lanes. The defense still needs addressed, and Anthony Barr would be an option here, but Matthews solid play to protect the franchise swings the tide.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Stephon Tuitt
DE, Notre Dame

  • Lovie Smith makes his mark in his first draft with the Bucs. Instead of going chalk with Barr he takes a swing with Tuitt. The Bucs will have to decide where they go at QB, is Mike Glennon their guy, but Tuitt could be  a game changer.

8. Minnesota Vikings
Anthony Barr
OLB, UCLA

  • The Vikings defense needs retooled and under new coach Mike Zimmer he will do just that. Some have Barr rated higher then Clowney in the draft so getting him here at 8 could be a huge steal for the Vikes. They could decide to look at a QB at this position but drafting Derek Carr would look a lot like drafting Christian Ponder too early a few years back.

9. Buffalo Bills
Sammy Watkins
WR, Clemson

  • The top WR in the draft falls a little bit here. He could be in play in a number of places above this. Watkins gives the Bills insurance with Stevie Johnson and continues the development of EJ Manuel.

10. Detroit Lions
Mike Evans
WR, Texas A&M

  • With new coach Jim Caldwell on board the Lions look to take some coverage and attention away from Megatron with the selection of Evans. Evans has the body type and control to make a huge impact in the league and gets drafted high to do so. The Lions may hope for Watkins, a different type of player then Evans, to fall here as a better compliment to Johnson.

11. Tennessee Titans
Darqueze Dennard
CB, MSU

With offensive coach Ken Whisenhunt now at the head drafting an offensive player would make sense. The Titans have to make a decision on Chris Johnson and have invested heavily in the offensive line. With Dennard Whisenhunt gets the top rated CB in the draft to play in the division with Andrew Luck.
