"The Pick: QB Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M Another top pick and another franchise in desperate need of help at the quarterback position—but unlike the 2013 draft, this year’s class has the talent to fill these holes."

  • Not surprising that Miller, and many others, have the Browns going with Manziel. The rumors that the owner loves him and that the team would be willing to trade up for him seem too strong to be real, and smell like a smoke screen, but have led to this pick in pretty much any draft Manziel is available. What is interesting is that in Miller’s draft both Blake Bortles and Manziel are available. It will be interesting if somehow 2 of the top 3 QBs are available when the Browns pick. The other surprise is that he had the Jaguars selecting Derek Carr right above the Browns. Highest I have seen Carr recently.
