Earlier we covered Rob Rang’s Best QB Fit for teams drafting high in the draft. Now we take a look at CBS Sports set of Mock Drafts. Last week they added Pete Prisco, who hasn’t updated his draft this week yet, and this week they add Pat Kirwan to the group. It is interesting takes looking at the top 4 picks, who it leaves the Browns with and how that impacts the rest of the draft. Unless something significant comes out I expect the Browns to be mocked to pick a QB in almost every draft, unless the top 3 are taken 1,2 and 3 overall. Lets head to the updated CBS Sports Mock Drafts.

Dane Brugler

4. CLEVELAND BROWNS

(4-12)
Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M: The Cleveland front office situation took a sharp turn with CEO Joe Banner and GM Mike Lombardi out and Ray Farmer named the new general manager and head decision-maker. What does that mean for the draft? Time will tell, but the quarterback need is still there and Manziel remains an intriguing option.
26. CLEVELAND BROWNS (FROM INDIANAPOLIS)

(4-12)
C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama: If the Browns go quarterback at No. 4 overall, their second first round pick is a wildcard with several need areas on the Cleveland roster. And while linebacker isn’t tops on that list, if a player like Mosley is still available, he makes sense inside next to D’Qwell Jackson.

No changes here for Brugler. With Bortles and Bridgewater off the board already that leaves the team with Manziel. How Ray Farmer thinks about Manziel will be important but if the other two are off the board can he really pass on a QB? We found one picture of these two Browns draft picks together, Manziel beat Mosley in the picture but Mosley could be the type of solid player Farmer is looking for in his first draft in the big chair.
