Luol Deng & Tyler Zeller Rumors as NBA Trade Deadline Nears

After making the trade to get Spencer Hawes the Cleveland Cavaliers are rumored to have 2 moves on the radar as the NBA Trade Deadline nears.

Trading Tyler Zeller after acquiring Hawes would make sense if Hawes wasn’t an expiring contract. Zeller has provided a great lift over the past 6 games and is the only long term center prospect on the Cavs roster. Bringing in Bullock who has a great shooting touch and is young and strong defender could be a boost to the backcourt, but the backcourt is crowded already. What else they get from the Clippers is important.

Trading Deng for Ariza makes no sense, and would need extra filler to make it work. Could the Cavs acquire Otto Porter and or a first round pick in return? Deng hasn’t played great for Cavs since coming over from the Bulls but replacing him with Ariza doesn’t do much for the short or long term interests of the team.

Either of these trades interest you? Upset you? What trade do you want to see happen?

Can’t see giving up on Zeller as he is starting to get better! The whole team is playing better and why upset the apple cart? Is Hawes just a rental, then you need a long term solution and that’s Zeller!!
