Cleveland Browns Not Noted as a "Fit" for NFL Free Agents Ranked #51 - 100

NFL Free Agency is creeping up on us, but due to its unpredictable nature many tend to focus more on the draft. Today MMQB came out with their list of NFL free agents ranked 51 to 100. For each of those listed Greg Bedard gave his best fit thoughts for the next destination for the free agent. The Cleveland Browns had no players of their own on the list of free agents but were also no listed as a fit for any of the players listed.

The Browns have a number of needs that they could look to fill in free agency including offensive line, running back, wide receiver, linebacker and defensive back. Bedard’s list had 10 offensive linemen, 5 running backs, 4 wide receivers, 8 linebackers and 8 defensive backs, including corners and safeties. Yet Bedard did not find a fit among them that the Browns were best for.

Could this be due to the unrest that has sat on the franchise for the past few months? Does the league, and those that cover it, have little idea of what new GM Ray Farmer values? Does Bedard think that the Browns are unable to attract even the lower tier free agents?

As you look at the list are their players there that you see could be a great fit for the Browns and the Browns for them? If money is the deciding factor the Browns should win out against many teams. Do you think the unrest could cause issues with attracting free agents?
