Arthur Moats to the Browns Likely Per Report

The Cleveland Browns continue to be in the center of many discussions before NFL Free Agency kicks off at 4PM. It looks like the Browns are going to fill one of their inside linebackers positions:

Moats has been connected to the Browns since Pettine was hired. He would fit next to Karlos Dansby who is also rumored to be heading towards the Browns. Moats will sign for much less though and bring his knowledge of the Pettine D to a defense lacking some leadership after the release of D’Qwell Jackson.

Moats won’t be a big name but could be a solid addition for the team. The Browns look like they could either trade and sign some big name guys or sign a bunch of second tier ones. A combination of the two is very possible. Moats could be a player that at the end of this year looks like a steal for Ray Farmer. The Browns, as expected, look to be spending their free agency on defense, since that is the side that is loaded, and waiting for the draft to address the offense, where that side is loaded.

Okay with Moats? Think they need a bigger name guy here? How are you feeling as rumors continue to swirl?
