Browns Lose T.J. Ward to the Denver Broncos: Updated w/ $ Info

Update: It is possible the Broncos got Ward at a steal:

The Cleveland Browns added Donte Whitner clearing the way for T.J. Ward to find another landing spot. It is quite possible the Browns were aware that Ward wanted out and Mike Pettine wanted more range in the secondary but the Denver Broncos scooped him up:

No more confirmation needed then the CEO of the team tweeting it out. What will be very interesting is how much money he got from the Broncos. Did he make far more then the Browns gave Whitner? Did he make it that clear that he was leaving no matter what? How will Browns fans react to losing Ward?

In Denver Ward will have a chance to compete for the playoffs and Super Bowl for the first time. His hard hitting, passion and excitement for the game was always fun to watch. He does have some injury history but nothing that scared the Broncos away.

What do you think of losing Ward? What is your fondest memory?
