Browns “In on” WR Emmanuel Sanders of Pittsburgh

The Browns have needs at the wide receiver position and could be interested in poaching their rivals player:

Sanders is a player that had greater interest last year as a restricted free agent then he looks to have this year as a unrestricted. Sanders signed a 1 year offer with the Patriots that the Steelers matched. He had his best statistical season last year with 67 catches but was targeted 110 times. He is a slot/underneath guy that could compliment Josh Gordon on the outside and Jordan Cameron down the middle of the field. This writer is a big fan of Sanders’ work and would love to see him hauling in passes for whoever is throwing for the Browns.

Taking from the rival Steelers is a bonus. The Ravens may try to do the same to the Browns in regards to Alex Mack.Sanders will command less on the market then Julian Edelman but could have a higher upside. Adding a slot guy, along with possibly getting a gadget return guy in Dexter McCluster would open up the Browns offense immediately. The Browns could still look to add Sammy Watkins in the draft.

How does Sanders fit into your wish list for the Browns? Would you spend double on Edelman? Would you rather pursue an outside guy like Hakeem Nicks?
