Teddy Bridgewater had his Pro Day yesterday, which the Cleveland Browns failed to send their HC, OC or QB coach, and Blake Bortles has his day tomorrow. Draft boards may be a changing, especially with analysts maybe not with teams. Given that here is the Two Headed Monster CBS Sports NFL Mock Draft. The Browns Mock Drafts will look similar, taking a QB, until more information “leaks” from Berea.

Dane Brugler

Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville: The Browns have a new head coach and general manager so right now it’s anyone’s guess the direction the franchise wants to go in the draft. But quarterback is still a strong need and with Bridgewater on the board, Cleveland cannot pass on the chance to upgrade the position.

Brugler posted his mock before the Pro Day yesterday. It is possible that the Pro Day emphasized some traits that teams saw on tape or that teams don’t care much about the Pro Day. With the Browns not being there they may have made a decision on Bridgewater, either for or against, and decided not to attend the day. With Ray Farmer being a football guy it would make sense that he puts more value on play on the field.

Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio State: If the Browns go quarterback at No. 4 overall, their second first-round pick is a wildcard with several need areas on the roster. And with the recent release of veteran D’Qwell Jackson, inside linebacker shoots to the top of that list. Shazier would be an interesting fit in that role, but it’s one he could handle.

This writer’s favorite pick for the Browns at 26 or 35. Shazier is a dynamic player for the inside of the 3-4 defense. If history tells us anything many won’t be a fan of this draft. Fans are clearly desiring the Browns to pick a dynamic wide receiver, most want Sammy Watkins up top, and at minimum want one at #26. The Browns could look to add a receiver but it doesn’t seem they see a big time wide receiver as a big need. If so they could of upped their offers to Julian Edelman or James Jones. Based on their free agents pursuits they could look to add a cornerback or safety.
