The Cleveland Indians have a few days left in Spring Training. The team is starting to come together, though the Justin Masterson contract negotiations have left a bitter taste in many people’s mouth. In comes resident fun guy Nick Swisher. You may remember Swisher from organizing last year’s Harlem Shake video, which we will show at the bottom, or from his infectious smile and happiness around the team all of last year. Mike Polk Jr., the man who coined the term Factory of Sadness that this site is named after, had the pleasure of spending a little time with Nick recently in Spring Training:
I wonder how his wife, actress Joanna Garcia, puts up with him. I also wonder if he is always this positive. A fun little video as we prepare for baseball season where the Tribe hopes to return to the playoffs, if you consider the one game play in game the playoffs, after losing Ubaldo Jimenez, Chris Perez and others. The team is hoping for bounce back years from Swisher, Michael Bourn and others to get back to October baseball.
Here is last year’s Harlem Shake video that Swisher put together, which is better?
Are you excited for Tribe Time? Does Swisher’s act get you excited, or would he annoy you if he was a co-worker?
