Mel Kiper’s Grade ‘A’ Draft for the Cleveland Browns (3 Rounds)

Mel Kiper just came out with the draft that basically is what he would do if he was the GM of each team, a full 3 rounds of it. He generally does his Mock Draft based on projections. Not so with this one, instead it is based on what he would do that would presumably result in an ‘A’ grade from him (Insider, $). First lets look at what he says are team’s needs then we will get into his 3 rounds of picks for the Browns, 5 picks total:

"Cleveland Browns Top needs: QB, CB, WR, OL"

Like many media members, and many of our readers, Kiper hits on the 4 big needs for the Browns. He puts them in order, but not the order that many would put them in. While most agree the Browns have a need for a QB many are unsure if there are any in this draft that deserve to be picked early. Instead many want to take a chance on a later round player to fill that need and instead get a WR or stud defender early in the draft.
