Don Banks’ One Minute Drill Draft Preview

With the NFL Draft a week away Cleveland Browns fans are often prepared. We know who we like, who we don’t like and what we expect to happen. Most fans are dead set for certain players and dead set against others. This writer loves Ryan Shazier and Allen Robinson and has no interest in the Browns drafting Kelvin Benjamin. You may think differently or opposite. One thing that seems to be general consensus is the needs on the team. The team needs a QB, WR, CB, FS and ILB. How the team will go about filling those is anyone’s guess, good job so far with that Ray Farmer.

Don Banks from SI.com provides his One Minute Drill Draft Preview below. Take a look and we will discuss further below

Quarterback

Banks is very clear that the Browns should/will draft a QB at 4 or 26. He likes Johnny Manziel to the Browns. Adding a QB early means the other needs are pushed down the board. Yet if the Browns have Manziel, or one of the other QBs, as the clear cut guy for them they should take him at #4.

Wide Receiver

Banks brings up Marqise Lee a receiver who has flown under the radar this draft season. Banks sees him as a value pick at #26 even though fans may want a faster or bigger player, Lee could be the perfect fit with Josh Gordon‘s electric abilities, Jordan Cameron‘s abilities in the seam and Andrew Hawkins slot abilities. Lee can do everything well and is a high quality route runner.

Do you see value in Lee? Does a QB at #4 get you excited or angry?
