6.) Atlanta FalconsKhalil Mack DE/OLB Buffalo

Atlanta is trying real hard to grab Clowney but I think their efforts fall short. Here the Falcons look at either upgrading the offensive line or pass rush. With Mack rated so much higher than the next available the Falcons address the pass rushing need. Plus all the ways they were envisioning using Clowney might create a hole that Mack should be able to fill. Offensive line can wait till the next round, plus it should get less pressure this year with Julio Jones healthy again. Keep an eye on Eric Ebron here as well.

7.) Tampa Bay BuccaneersMike Evans WR Texas A&M
The Buccaneers have put themselves in a solid spot. They addressed the quarterback position for now, though Bridgewater here is still a very real possibility, with the signing of Josh McCown from Lovie Smith‘s previous Bears and was anointed starter right away, with Mike Glennon potentially grooming behind him. They upgraded their offensive line, especially with the signing of Anthony Collins for LT, while also upgrading their defensive line and replaced one starting corner with another. Leaving them the opportunity to add another WR to pair with Vincent Jackson, giving McCown a lot of options and turning this offense into something teams have to respect. Evans is a tough receiver and will instantly add credibility to the #2 giving Jackson more room to operate all of which will make McCown’s life a lot easier.

8.) Minnesota Vikings C.J. Mosley ILB Alabama
This could be a trade down slot with a team coming up to grab one of the offensive linemen. After the Vikings there isn’t another quarterback team until the Cardinals if that’s the choice they go or they could slide down to grab Mosley to fill their need at ILB. A lot of it depends on their thoughts on Bridgewater and the other QBs. If they think Bridgewater is the real deal, he’ll be the pick here. If they’re not sure then look for the best player available, minus OT (Kalil 2 seasons ago) and RB. That could be either Mosley, Eric Ebron, and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. I believe it’s Mosley since ILB is their biggest need of the 3 positions.

9.) Buffalo Bills Jake Matthews OT Texas A&M
The Bills are team that have a lot of vacancies. It could be OT, TE, DE, WR and potentially S. Which leaves a lot of ways to go with this pick. I believe they go OT especially with the minor fall of Jake Matthews. Matthews can play either LT or RT depending on how quickly he emerges in pre-season. He’ll instantly help improve the book end of the offensive line giving last year’s #1 pick, E.J. Manuel more time.

10.) Detroit LionsJustin Gilbert CB Oklahoma St.
The Lions need secondary help. So the pick is either Gilbert, Dennard or Clinton-Dix. There’s something about Gilbert that just screams like a Lion pick and that might be his big play ability. The guy has speed, instincts and talent to turn every pass into 6 for the defense.
