Can Indians Regain 2013 Form?

Right now the Tribe is in a downward spiral and a tough series against The  Detroit Tigers  is on deck. The Indians lately have had trouble with almost everything, from fielding to hitting to starting pitching and the list goes on! Injuries haven’t helped either. Jason Kipnis and Michael Brantley, the young stars of this team, both going down has been especially trouble some!

The starting pitching lately has been abysmal, even Justin Masterson isn’t up to himself. But with the rate they are going they will wear out the bull pen by the All Star break. Speaking of the bull pen, John Axford needs to regain his rhythm and snap back to his form of a couple years ago! They are running out of people in Columbus to bring up.

It looks to me like everyone is trying too hard and taking it upon themselves to try and be a hero! They are pressing, and I think they really don’t have that one player to carry them over a week or longer. To step up and put this team on his back!  No one like Miguel Cabrera or Albert Pujols.

This team was put together to be a collective effort. Everything had to fall into place and each player doing their job and not trying to carry this team. No one trying to do more than they can handle. If they don’t start relaxing and playing up to their capabilities and not forcing things, they will be in a hole much to deep to dig out of!

I have my doubts that this will happen! They are not just getting beat, they are being whipped badly. Last year they would have a small losing streak and then a winning streak. That’s not happening this year and it can’t go on!
