Cleveland, Can the "Luck" Continue?

The last ten days to two weeks has been a very exciting time for sports fans in Cleveland! First came the NFL draft and Johnny Football, hopefully our quarterback of the future and some excellent picks like Justin Gilbert to pair with Joe Haden to be our shut down corners! Not to mention the help for our offensive line and running game. The only downer is the Josh Gordon possible suspension, yet we still haven’t heard what’s up with that!?

Next, and at almost on cue, the Tribe smokes the Detroit Tigers in a three game series out of the blue! They hit and played defense better and the pitching hung on! But what a surprise! After looking so bad in the previous series, they catch fire and even Trevor Bauer looked like what the Indians had hoped when they traded for him! Corey Kluber looks like an ace . But Justin Masterson has lost his stuff. His fast ball is down three miles an hour or a little more and it doesn’t sound like much, but it makes a big difference!

Then the Cavaliers pull a rabbit out of the hat and with less than a 2% chance they get a gift from the Gods and the first pick in the draft. Regardless of what they do with it, trade for an established player or pick one of the top three players, it makes life easier for a team that needed a jump start to the new season!! New GM and looking for a new coach, it’s exciting no matter where you look.

Now is it time to come back to earth? The Browns could loose Gordon for the whole year and Johnny Manziel  really needs to sit a year! With out Josh Gordon do they have enough offense to do any damage. Do the Indians have enough pitching and hitting to get back in the race for the Central division, let alone
