Andrew Wiggins Looks "Very Good": Cavs Pick "Wide Open"

The Cleveland Cavaliers had Andrew Wiggins in for his physical and workout. As expected it looks like Wiggins passed with flying colors and is still in the running for the Cavs at #1:

Jabari Parker will be in town on Friday and you can expect a similar report from his workout as well. Wiggins should of had no problems in his workout. He is athletically gifted, very smooth and would dominate in a game of 1 on none that most of these meetings are.

Expect the Cavs to push out more information today about the workout. How much Wiggins worked on his ball handling, shot, etc. That they see the next dominate wing player in the league in Wiggins and a perfect pairing with the ball dominate Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters. You may even see rumors of the Cavs interest in a few big men in free agency and trades (Larry Sanders and Tyson Chandler are two possibilities).

All of that is smokescreen. Not that the Cavs aren’t truly interested in Wiggins, or Joel Embiid for that matter, it is just in their best interest to keep teams guessing some. By doing so they could exact a huge bounty for the #1 pick from some team that can’t imagine losing out on “their guy.” With Wiggins that is the Philadelphia 76ers who are said to have wanted Wiggins all year, tanked for Wiggins and are now praying for Wiggins.

Could the Cavs have similar grades on Wiggins, Embiid and Parker and be okay with whoever falls to them at #3 but also add the 10th pick, Nerlens Noel or at least Thaddeus Young?

For the Cavs one question will be whether or not they are impacted by recency effect. Being more enamored with that which they saw first. Or could every work out be judged against the first one, by Embiid, and could that workout last week hold weight over the rest as they are going on. Needless to say the Cavs have 3 great options in the draft and need to do whatever they can to capitalize on it.

What do you think of these reports? Think the Cavs could move down?
