Tom Hamilton’s Great Call of Nick Swisher Walk Off Grand Slam

The Cleveland Indians took the Angels into extra innings in the rubber match of what was suppose to be a 4 game series. Justin Masterson shut down the Angels for 7 strong but the Tribe could only match the LA team with 1 run. The Tribe’s bullpen gave up 2 runs in the Top of the 7th before loading the bases.

To the plate was Mr. Brohio, Nick Swisher. Swish has been struggling all year, and has heard it from fans at the ballpark and on Twitter. Swisher was up with 2 outs. Many expected a strikeout as he was in the hole with 2 strikes when this happened (Just hit the little play button):

An amazing call on an amazing hit. The Tribe now turn their attention to the rival Detroit Tigers with momentum on their side. This has happened before only for the team to not carry that emotion over to the next series. The Tiger series will be huge for the Indians and they will need to gather themselves and refocus in time for the big games.

For now they can bask in the glow of a huge hit, the first Tribe Grand Slam of the year, leading to a mob party at home plate.

What did you do when Swish came to the plate? When he had 2 strikes? When he finally hit that long shot?
