We are 5 days away from the NBA Draft. A day that is now in flux due to the Joel Embiid injury. It seems the Cavs have 3 options: Draft Andrew Wiggins, Draft Jabari Parker or trade the pick. Before the NBA Draft Lottery having a shot at EITHER Parker or Wiggins, or even a injured Embiid, would thrown Cavs fans into a positive hysteria. Now fans are bemoaning Parker’s weight and defense and Wiggins’ ball handling and fit with the backcourt.

And yet somehow LeBron James hovers above it all. That is what happens when you are the greatest basketball player on the Earth and can become a free agent. Thankfully the Cavaliers have hired a head coach, David Blatt, and did so without worrying whether James would approve or not. Instead they found the guy that has a system they believe in and will draft the best players with the best fit for them. If James comes back to be the star of the team, that would be great. If not the Cavs must build a winning team one way or another.

Bleacher Report did an interesting video using AMC’s Mad Men show, and Don Draper, to “recruit” James back to Cleveland. I don’t watch the show but as I understand Draper is a marketing guy so this scene was him pitching to clients how he would sell their product. Instead B/R did a great job of splicing in photos of James in Cleveland. Could the pull of these possible feelings have any impact on James’ decision part 2? Probably not but for many of us they might:
