NBA Draft: "Voice of the Fan's" Cavs Options

There are many trains of thought on this, I have a few and then let’s see what you think? The NBA Draft is tomorrow night and things are heating up as offers are coming in from all over. To make matters more exciting, LeBron James has opted out in Miami.

The Cavaliers have to make a choice in what direction do they wish to go. Win now and spend some of their assets to do it, look for a quick fix and possibly make some major changes on the roster. Or they could go young and keep traveling the road they are on and hope the addition of a player or two and David Blatt will be enough to get the job done!

I think they have two major choices, either draft Wiggins, who I suspect is the best player with his defensive ability and upside on his offense and athleticism . He could turn out to be a real star and a latte help to this team! He could make everyone around him better if developed in the right way.

The other choice to me, is to accept the trade from Orlando. Give up the first pick and get back the forth pick and pick twelve along with Arron Afflalo  and either draft  Joel Embiid and perhaps a secondary talent such as Nic Stauskas or Aaron Gordon? Or they could package that pick with a player and get a good mid- level veteran forward.

They should hang on until the last minute as the offers keep coming! But I like the second one best because there just aren’t many players with the ability of Embiid to come along at his position. Although I hate to pass up on Wiggins?
