Today’s the day Miami Heat president Pat Riley lays his cards on the table to get LeBron James to recommit to South Beach.
Judging by a story the Factory published last night, this scenario is looking less likely.
Chris Sheridan of SheridanHoops.com cited a “plugged in” source who said the chances of James returning to Cleveland are 90 percent.
@ProBasketballDraft tweeted Riley wants Dwayne Wade to participate in the meeting. Obviously Riley would be betting on the two’s friendship to get the King back to Miami, but the play could also backfire.
Riley wants Wade in Vegas & in the meeting w/ LeBron but potential to backfire too. He knows Wade can't stay healthy & will still carry him.

• What are the real chances LeBron comes to the Cavs? Only one concrete demand as been reported. He wants a max deal. The Cavs can oblige. So what’s No. 2? Probably the roster. If that’s the case, the Cavs are in the driver’s seat.
Ask yourself this, folks: Who is best player on current Cleveland/Miami rosters? I'll give you a hint. Some folks call him Uncle Drew.

* ESPN writer Pat McManamon penned this column on the plight of Cleveland sports fan and the athletes (LeBron James, Josh Gordon, Johnny Manziel) we’re forced to follow.
“Indianapolis gets Manning and Luck and Tony Dungy and Chuck Pagano; Cleveland has two scoops of Gordon and James, with Manziel on top.”
• Terry Francona is backing up what he said about the city coming together to vote Corey Kluber into the All-Star Game.
