LeBron James has come back to the Cavs, and the four-time MVP has now returned to Akron to film a Beats commercial at his alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, according to Fox Sports Ohio.
According to reporter Zac Jackson, staffers started setting up for the shoot Tuesday.
James returns to the the Rubber City after being the most reported man on the planet during his skills camp in Las Vegas last week. It was during this time he announced through an essay on SI.com, that he was returning to the Cavaliers.
Following Vegas, James jetted to Brazil to watch the World Cup, as a guest of FIFA. The Summer of the King won’t end there, as James is supposed to take a Nike sponsored trip to China, while also partaking in a welcome home party from the City of Akron.
Akron city spokeswoman Stephanie York told the Associated Press that details of the event are still in the works — but it will be big, via ESPN.
“The city is working with the LeBron James Family Foundation to coordinate the homecoming event. York says the date will be determined by the NBA star’s schedule,” according to the report.
