Cleveland Cavaliers basketball is back, and taking center stage in the hearts of the city’s sports fans as the Cleveland Browns wrestle with another losing record in October and while the Cleveland Indians wonder what could have been.

Welcome to Factory Lines, a weekly column highlight the triumphs and failures of our favorite Cleveland sports franchises.

The vision of the column is to bring you my weekly thoughts, ramblings, and analysis on things that happen in Cleveland sports. My inspiration for the article comes from Terry Pluto’s Scribbles, and “Terry’s Talkin.”

Cleveland long has a reputation as a blue-collar, working-class town–plus it’s the home of THE Factory of Sadness. So what better place to commiserate and perhaps, celebrate the comings and goings of the Cavs, Browns and Tribe.

As fans, we’ve witnessed a lot of crazy and unexplainable events related to the success and failures of our sports teams. This column won’t explain those things, but it will offer analysis, a little thought, a little opinion and a lot of therapy.

Thus, without further ado, let’s go down the Factory Lines…
