LeBron James is one of the best players in the world and has been for years. His ability to make the hardest plays look so simple is a credit to his skill set.

Every so often NBA fans debate who is the best in the league. Those type of debates are very intriguing because we never know how others determine who is the best.

Discussing who presently is the best often lead to who is the best in the past’s generations, as well as all time. More often than not, James has been the clear choice as the best player in recent seasons, but does his play still allow that to be true?

It is easy for fans to be homers of their respective team and name their team’s best player as the best in the NBA. Although that may not be fair, does the fans’ opinion actually make sense and is it realistic? That depends on the player.

James has had multiple rivalries versus many good players over the years. Could one of those players actually be the best player now, replacing the best player to ever have suited up for the Cleveland Cavaliers?
