The offseason is in full force for the Cleveland Browns. How could Cleveland look to improve their roster at the end of the month?

Since the first Cleveland Browns mock draft, we have seen multiple veterans cut or not re-signed. Some of those players were at key positions, and Cleveland has signed players to replace them. Yet, that does not guarantee those needs are filled completely and that the team can focus their attention elsewhere.

There are so many holes on both sides of the ball. Like previous offseasons, the Cleveland Browns have not been major players in free agency, which in turn affects what they do in the draft.

This offseason may be the worse in recent memory in terms of the players the Browns did not retain, as well as who they signed as free agents. The Cleveland Browns roster is not as exciting as it could be, but depending on what they do in the draft, that mindset could easily be changed.

With a rookie front office in charge, it is unclear as to what their approach will be. On the other hand, the organization cannot do any worse than what the team has done during previous drafts.

However the Browns front office goes about adding talent, their approach should not be ridiculed from the start. After all, Cleveland’s approach will be different from the norm and that could benefit the team greatly long-term. All options should be on the table and with needs at key areas, let’s see how the draft class could turn out.
