The Cleveland Browns have not traded wide receiver Josh Gordon yet and there is not a guarantee that they will. That said, if dealt, what should be Cleveland’s return?

Players with so much potential for one reason or another does not always meet expectations. For Cleveland Browns’ Josh Gordon, the door is still open for him to have a very successful career. The key however, is maintaining a regular presence on the field, while overcoming obstacles away from the stadium.

Prior to being reinstated and just after the announcement was made, rumors involved a potential Gordon trade surfaced. A trade would add to the long-term approach of the Browns rebuild.

Yet, at the same time, Gordon can help the team when he gets to play. Both sides of the coins have their pros and cons. It appears Cleveland knows what Gordon can bring and will stand by him following his suspension at the beginning of the season.

Had the Browns determined they wanted to trade Gordon, it likely would have been done by now. Still, plenty could change from now until his first regular season game.  Don’t expect a trade but if one were to happen, what must be the return for Gordon? Members of the FoS team gave their thoughts.
