Jan 3, 2014; Arlington, TX, USA; Oklahoma State Cowboys cornerback Justin Gilbert (4) reacts during the game against the Missouri Tigers in the 2014 Cotton Bowl at AT

#13 St. Louis Rams Select Justin Gilbert, Oklahoma State, Cornerback – After adding Sammy Watkins with the #2 overall pick the Rams bolster the other side of the ball here with Gilbert. Gilbert joins Janoris Jenkins and Cortland Finnegan to solidify the backend of the defense, to go along with a fearsome front 4. The Rams could look to double up on offense to solidify their line or look to move out of this pick to add to their stock pile.

#14 Chicago Bears Select Louis Nix III, Notre Dame, Defensive Tackle – The Chicago Bears select Louis Nix III with the 14 pick. Nix fills a need for the Bears on the defensive line. The Bears defensive line struggled last season in getting to the quarterback and Nix has the potential to be a disruptive force in the middle of the line; something the Bears have not had since Tommie Harris. Nix could potentially step right in and start for the Bears depending on whether or not the team brings back Henry Melton next season. If Nix is off the board then the Bears may look at defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman, Minnesota; safety Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix, Alabama; or defensive end Stephon Tuitt, Notre Dame.
