We have recently gotten McShay’s and Kiper’s Mock Draft (click their names to get our reviews of their Insider drafts). Now we are to our Weekly 7 Round Browns NFL Mock Draft. Reminder that we use FanSpeak’s Mock Draft Simulator to create our 7 Round Mock, feel free to click their name and create one of your own to share with use. Today, along with our pick analysis we will provide you with highlight videos of each of our future Cleveland Browns. Without further ado on to our 7 Rounder:

#4 – Khalil Mack

The Browns can go a number of directions but Mack is a player that could make an immediate impact on the team without reaching for a QB. A receiver, like Sammy Watkins and Mike Evans, could be options but the Browns have a stud already with Josh Gordon. While the Browns are full of OLBs in Paul Kruger, Barkevious Mingo and Jabaal Sheard none are the top flight guy that would keep a team from drafting Mack or Jadeveon Clowney. Mack and Kruger could play inside while Sheard is a free agent after this season, which is a concern.

Mack would line up all over the field and make impact plays for Mike Pettine. If the Browns don’t go in this direction expect a QB, like Blake Bortles or linemen Greg Robinson or Jake Matthews here. Surprise picks are possible and we will review possibilities as we get closer to the draft. Take a look at Mack dominating:

I love the Jeff Janis pick, but I don’t see him falling into the 5th round. There are a couple of teams who have compensation picks at the end of the 3rd and 4th looking for big body WR’s, I see one of those teams taking there chances on him with those picks. Also like the Isaiah Crowell pick. He had an off the field incident after his freshman year, then transferred to a 1AA collage. Since then has had no more incidents reported, and would be a steal in the 7th round.
As for the rest of the draft the Browns are getting quality talent and depth. In a year or two from now when these players get experience, the Browns should be kings of the AFC North.

To much emphasis on the defense and not where they need the most help , that being offense! Another first round linebacker, are you kidding me? They have basically spent the last two years rebuilding the defense and who was saying that if we had more offense last year, they may have been in contention for a playoff birth!! And now were drafting defense again with these high picks!! Non-sense!! Big mistake!!!

Hey ,Jared, here’s my draft for the Browns from Fans Speak Mock Simulator! 1) G. Robinson, Tackle 2) Odell Beck0ham WR 3) J Garoppolo QB, 4)Jalen Watkins CB,5)Kadeem Carey RB, 6)Brian Stork C,7)Max Bullough ILB, 8)Jeff Janis WR, 9) Michael Sam DE and 10)Connor Shaw QB. It’s a little different than yours, but I filled some holes and helped the O and D !! Let me know what you think! I’m thinking too!

With 4 tight ends on the roster, I highly doubt the Browns would draft Ebron. He may be the most talented if he falls to 26, but it would be illogical to waste an important pick on a position that doesn’t need improvement.

  • Josh Hart

I’d be fairly happy with this draft. I’d rather have Murray over McCarron, and I doubt they take another TE that can’t block that high, but I wouldn’t hate it. I also doubt Crowell falls that far, but I’d be doing back flips if we got him that late! Yeah he has some major red flags, but he has legit 1st round talent. Gordon had red flags too and he had been worth the risk so far. I believe Crowell is too.
