The Ohio State football team plays its biggest game of the season against Michigan State this Saturday at Ohio Stadium. These five reasons show why the Buckeyes will trump Sparty to improve to 11-0.

It’s the game Ohio State fans have waited for all season for. Buckeye nation expected their beloved Scarlet and Gray to be undefeated 10 games into the 2015 campaign, but this is where the true test begin if Urban Meyer and company are to repeat as national champions.

The Buckeyes are currently ranked No. 3 in the College Football Playoff poll, while Michigan State (9-1) is ranked No. 9. Ohio State enters the contest as a 13-point favorite, according to Bovada, while websites such as FiveThirtyEight.com gives the Buckeyes a 79 percent chance of remaining undefeated.

There’s no beating around the bushing heading into Saturday: If Ohio State wants to play for a national title, Meyer has to lead his team past Sparty, and these five reasons show why the Buckeyes will reign victorious.
