If during the 2017 NFL Draft the Cleveland Browns don’t go quarterback at 12, where could they go?

Since starting the new NFL year, the Cleveland Browns have filled multiple needs. There is still plenty of work to be done, but some of that will have to wait until the 2017 NFL Draft begins.

For decades, the Browns have had a need at quarterback. Countless players of various skill sets have been under center but no one has yet done enough to secure the position as a long-term answer.

So, assuming Cleveland goes anywhere but quarterback at 12 who could they go with? Well, that is all determined by what is done ahead of them between picks two and 11.

An early round selection at quarterback is an option on the table. However, Cleveland could wait till the second round if they wanted.

Assuming that is the route in this piece, the Browns will be in a nice spot to draft quality players. At the same time, those players would be filled with potential and could be building blocks down the road. With that in mind, these five non-quarterbacks could fit in very well at 12th overall.
