6. Atlanta Falcons
Jadeveon Clowney
DE, South Carolina

  • The Falcons feel lucky and run the card to the podium. They could look at Robinson on the other side of the line but Clowney fits a huge need for the team and is a generational talent. Teams could look to jump the Falcons to get Clowney allowing the Raiders to pick up Carr later.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Khalil Mack
OLB, Buffalo

  • The Bucs, with their new coach Lovie Smith, solidify their defense with Mack. Mack a small school linebacker has proven he belongs. Smith, a defensive coach could clearly look for a dominate player like Mack or Anthony Barr.

8. Minnesota Vikings
Sammy Watkins
WR, Clemson

  • The Vikings don’t have their QB of the future but none are here for them with 4 off the board. Mike Zimmer is a defensive coach but could see some AJ Green in Watkins. Watkins isn’t as big but his ability to high point the ball and his hands are great as well. Watkins and Patterson should open things up for All Day Adrian Peterson.

9. Buffalo Bills
Anthony Barr
OLB, UCLA

  • Barr has been compared to Clowney in terms of impact ability. Barr comes to a Bills defense that turned the corner under Mike Pettine last year. Barr will attack from the other side of Mario Williams giving the team dynamic rushers. The Bills would look at Watkins or Mike Evans here as well to give EJ Manuel another weapon.

10. Detroit Lions
Marqise Lee
WR, USC

  • Lee is a surprising pick here but many have him as the #2 WR in this class and some have him close to Watkins. The Lions need a route runner across from Megatron and Lee provides just that for the team.
