2004 – Cincinnati Bengals – Chris Perry

Perry is another bust who came out of Michigan but never settled in the league. Perry was a back up to Pro Bowler Rudi Johnson before being handed the starting role in 2008. Perry was released following that season. He never amassed more then 300 yards rushing and only had 2 total touchdowns in his 4 year career. With the bust rate of running backs this is not a great surprise. His 5 fumbles his only year as a starter may have been his undoing with the Bengals. His fractured leg in the 2006 season robbed him of most of the expectations the team had for him.

Do any of the players remind you of any players the Browns could draft this year at #26? Any players in this draft that you think could have a Clay Matthews type impact? Or be the McCargo bust? With the hit or miss results over the past 10 years does that make you think about trading back from the pick, maybe for a 2015 first rounder and more, or using that pick to trade up?
