2014 NFL Mock Drafts are plentiful. Here at FoS we try to deliver to you Mock Drafts from around the internet that we feel are interesting or done by reputable writers. Earlier today we gave you our 6 pack of Free Agents that would be a perfect start for the Cleveland Browns off-season.  You will have to click the link, which will open in a new window, to see who the players are but we added a WR, a CB, 2 safeties, a OG and a WR. Today’s 7 Round Mock Draft will be based on those signings. Just like the Browns we will draft based on the talent we were able to acquire in free agency. We are still using FanSpeak’s Simulator to make sure the draft is as close as possible to what will really happen.

#4 – Jadeveon Clowney

This was a tough choice. With both Teddy Bridgewater and Blake Bortles off the board we were left with the 2 players that could have an immediate and dynamic impact on the team: Clowney and Sammy Watkins. With the addition of a WR in free agency we are still intrigued by adding Watkins to finish off the receiving core for a long time, as well as give the Browns insurance against any Josh Gordon troubles. In the end we go with the other worldly Clowney to create a dynamic front 7. Clowney would be used similar to Mario Williams and given flexibility all over the field. In a tradition 3-4 look Clowney would line up as the DE along side Phil Taylor and Desmond Bryant. Behind them at linebacker would be Barkevious Mingo, Jabaal Sheard, Paul Kruger (moved to ILB) and the free agent we already signed. The Front 7 would be a nasty group that can rush the passer, stop the run and generally create havoc for Mike Pettine.
