#164 – Dri Archer

Again we are beaten to the punch as we planned to draft De’Anthony Thomas with this pick but the Jaguars swooped him up one pick earlier so we go with the Combine star Archer. Archer may not have a particular position but he is a weapon waiting to explode. He may only get a few touches a game on a combination of returns, runs, screens and passes but he could make them meaningful. With the bigger Williams taking the load Archer can be deployed when needed instead of overworked. Adding another local product from Kent State can’t hurt either.

#195 – Ron Powell

At this point Powell is a pick that makes sense but could also easily end up on the practice squad for a year. Powell has struggled with injuries in his career at Florida but could move inside as a linebacker as well as rush the passer from the outside. While the Browns have a few outside linebackers Powell’s flexibility goes a long way. You can also never have too many pass rushers.
