McLafferty Mocks (himself) the 2014 NFL Draft, Going all 7 Rounds with the Cleveland Browns

#4 Johnny Manziel QB Texas A &M
Both Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater are off the board but I would have picked Manziel ahead of at least Bortles anyways. I think Manziel has that “IT Factor” that not many players have at the one place where that “IT Factor” can constantly be on display. He has the skills (with solid arm strength and accuracy) has the best pocket awareness in the draft, moves away from pressure, can make huge plays with his feet and determination which adds that extra dimension to have it be 11 on 11 as opposed to the offense being a player down. His heart will lead the team when it’s dragging and inspire when they begin to slip into quicksand (The non edited TNT version). This will be the leader, the face and the heart of this franchise.
#26 Marqise Lee WR USC
Here I would rather the Browns have grabbed Hakeem Nicks in free agency allowing us to grab Kouandjio who would move to RT and hopefully move Mitchell Schwartz into the RG position but I’m going with impression that they haven’t. Marqise Lee is the #2 WR on my board. He’s a dominant receiver who can take over games. He was a top 10 mock last year before returning, which ended up being a mistake due to the collapse of the Trojans this past year. It’s hard to be a super productive when your team is crumbling in almost every aspect. His numbers his first two years are out of this world. My #1 mock would be us getting Watkins and Manziel. My #2 is this scenario grabbing Manziel and Lee. I have no idea why he’s falling this fall, but if he is, I would be MORE than happy to grab him here. Manziel to Josh Gordon, Lee and Jordan Cameron is nasty.
