"83. Cleveland (from PIT): Bashaud Breeland, CB, Clemson"

Finally a non-offensive skill position player for the Browns to work with. Breeland is a good sized corner that fills a great need for the Browns. He isn’t polished in use of his hands or recognition of ball flight but could be a solid #2 corner next to Joe Haden. No more getting beat by the bigger, less talented receivers like they were last year if Breeland can come on quickly.

"106. Cleveland: JaWuan James, T, Tennessee"

Now the line gets looked at. So they delayed it but got to a need on defense and on the offensive line with James. James is huge, standing 6’6″ and well over 300 lbs yet is surprisingly quick on his feet. James could be a great find in the Zone Blocking Scheme at right tackle or even at guard. James could make it tough for the shorter Manziel to see over the line but that would be a problem no matter what and offensive linemen need to keep their pad levels low anyways. James could be a starter from day one.

"127. Cleveland (from IND): Jordan Zumwalt, LB, UCLA"

And the final big need of the team gets hit here with a linebacker. Zumwalt has experience playing inside in a 3-4 scheme and could play early on defense and special teams. An experienced Senior the Browns could find their starting ILB for years to come in the 4th round. Zumwalt will need to bulk up some but the hard hitting Karlos Dansby next to him takes on some of that role with Zumwalt ranging sideline to sideline and playing in coverage.

Wrap Up

All and all a very interesting draft that covered many of the Browns primary needs including a big receiver (2 of them), a QB with a high ceiling, a young running back, a #2 corner, a starting offensive lineman and a starting level inside linebacker. How they got to that collection of players was interesting but no doubt the Browns would be better for it. While other players may fit some fans desires more, many would sign up for this draft today and go home.

What do you think about this draft? Evans at 4 is a shock but okay with it? What about drafting Benjamin then in the 2nd? Did how they finish the 4 round mock make up for that double up?
