#35 – Kyle Fuller

With 2 of their first 3 picks the Browns add to Pettine’s defense. Adding a LB who can play multiple spots finishes off the front 7 while adding Fuller as the #2 CB finishes off the secondary, a FS would be nice but they have flexibility. The defense allows the offense to develop slowly. How many other picks are used on the defense may be limited by these first two defenders. But the depth of this draft is on the offensive side more so these picks make sense.

The Browns could look to offense here but linemen went off the board quickly and none of the receivers that had to be picked were still here. Fuller is a high level talent that will give the Browns the type of talented defensive backfield to give offenses fits for years to come. Here is Fuller in college:
