#26 – Kyle Fuller
The Browns have been seeking a #2 corner for a few years and find him here in Fuller. Matt Miller recently reported, and we covered our thoughts on it here, that the Browns want to address QB, CB and WR in the first 3 picks if things work out. With the depth available in the draft at WR, Fuller gets the nod. Expect a run on both CB and WR late first early second where the Browns can cash in with their #2 receiver.
Fuller is a talented corner who will be called upon to take the opposite side of the field as Joe Haden. Fuller has the requisite height we have been calling for in the secondary, a sturdy 6′ who can get stronger in his frame but has a high football IQ. He will succeed in Pettine’s multi look defense and provide the backend someone who can keep the defenses from taking advantage. Fuller could be in the running for Defensive Rookie of the Year as teams test him over throwing towards Haden.
