Where Have You Gone Jimmy Haslam?
Where is Jimmy Haslam? The Browns owner got some great news earlier in the summer when he was basically left off the hook for the transgressions of his senior staff at Pilot/Flying J, yet he remains silent, aside from the his usual on-field chats with the coaches before games.
Even as the Browns were forced to sit and wait for news regarding Josh Gordon’s suspension, Browns fans heard nothing from the service-station mogul, who had every right to be demanding answers from the league and the man who works for him–Commisoner Roger Goodell.
Browns fans thought they were getting a change from the close-to-the-vest mentality of the previous ownership. Haslam was supposed to be more brash–a la Jerry Jones, but it’s been more Randy Lerner as the Browns needed somebody to speak up for the team, and the fans.
