Thanks for Nothing Banbardi

Would it be great to have some 2013 rookies ready to step up and help this team? These players would be experienced, hungry, and ready to prove they could be elite players for a team looking for anyone with talent.

Unfortunately, not many of  those players exist, because Mike Lombardi and Joe Banner sold last year’s draft for value in 2014–and that may have worked out.

But last year’s yield was weak, and that’s being nice. Barkevious Mingo, will start at outside linebacker, but because of his 240-pound frame, it’s unlikely he’ll live up to being the sixth overall selection.

Third-round cornerback Leon McFadden was cut and is with the Jets. What’s left to say about this busted pick other than to debate whether he committed eight, or nine penalties this preseason? Garrett Gilkey was waived and safety Jamoris Slaughter was cut, too.

Seventh-rounder Armonty Bryant may be gem, as he looks ready to shine in Mike Pettine’s defense.

The song “One Out of Five Ain’t Bad” doesn’t exist, but some enterprising Browns fan might just have to create the tune if Bryant plays his way to the Pro Bowl.
