Cleveland Browns Starting Quarterbacks Since 1999: Where Are They Now?
Perhaps the most unsexy quarterback among the Gang of 21, Pederson was pressed into action during the 2000 season, and was pretty unspectacular.
While he didn’t demonstrate a great offensive knowledge under center at Cleveland Browns Stadium, Pederson was savvy enough to go into coaching during his post-playing career.
He’s currently the offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Chiefs passing game has stalled with Alex Smith under center in 2014, as Pederson’s passing attack is ranked 31st in the NFL. The ground game fares much better (6th overall), but having Jamaal Charles undoubtedly helps.
