No. 7 Masty Not So Nasty

If Justin Masterson pitched even kind of close to the way he performed in 2013, the Indians probably would’ve made the playoffs for the second time in as many years.

Instead, Masterson flopped, after turning down a three-year, $45 million offer last offseason.

Before being traded, Masteron was 4-6, with a 5.51 ERA. St. Louis couldn’t fix him, either, as the velocity on Materon’s fastball dropped from 93.1 mph in 2013, to 90.3 in 2014.

The Indians finished 85-77, three games out of the second Wild Card spot.
