All NFL All The Time A Bad Thing For Cleveland Browns’ Fans

facebooktwitterreddit

The marketing machine that is the NFL constantly gets praised for turning a sport that plays 16 regular season games into an all-consuming entity that is talked and pubbed 365 days a year. This is fantastic for this with a stake in the shield, but for fans of the Cleveland Browns, it can be a little much.

How much can Dawg Pound Nation endure? We fill that stadium every Sunday, or dish out the $300 for Sunday Ticket. We keep watching and the losses keep racking up. Coaches change, players change, heck, even the owner has changed. But the fans don’t.

All we as Browns fans want is some good news, yet what we read about Jordan CameronCarlos Boozer-ing” the franchise, Josh McCown signed as our next quarterback while our first-round signal caller sorts out life in rehab. We debate whether our general manager will draft a receiver in the first round, despite the fact that it’s an obvious need that should take about two seconds to figure out.

It’s just too much! Too much frustration, too much disappointment. Sports are supposed to be fun, yet the Browns warrant a daily face palm.

I write about the Browns for this site, so I’ll be staying up-to-date with the often times frustrating news that plagues this franchise. But I’ll understand if you need a sabbatical. Just come back for the draft. The Browns always win the draft…and the cycle repeats…
