The Cleveland Browns are officially on summer recess now that minicamp is over, but several players left coaches and fans excited about the future because of their successes at the recent practice sessions.

These five players in particular, had fans and the media talking…

Wideout Taylor Gabriel no longer needs to worry about finding a place on the roster. In year two, Gabriel can instead focus on the playbook and building off the unexpected success of his rookie season.

Gabriel’s touches suffered when Josh Gordon returned in 2014, but now that Flash is lost for the season, Gabriel figures to play an important role within the receiving corps.

The 5-foot-8 undrafted free agent has been going up against Joe Haden during the offseason, and is building chemistry with quarterback Josh McCown by sitting down with Cleveland’s new signal caller to dissect coverages.

Gabriel may also play a factor on special teams as the Browns seeks to end the problematic position of punt returner.
